You must've just posted...LOL! You must use Awave Studio to convert to XI. When I sample a VSTi's output I use Extreme Sample Converter whichs saves the output of the VSTi as a SFZ bank, which is both open format & Cakewalk. Then I open Awave studio & save instrument as XI...which is the last one on the list. If your SFZ file is multi-velocity then when you go into Awave you right-click & choose 'process instrument' then there will be a list to choose from & at the very bottom of that drop-down menu there is 'split multi-velocity instrument to separate instruments'. Once you choose that & press 'finish' then the instruments will show up separate...Right-click on each one & save as XI. Pretty much the quick rundown there except for how to use the VST converter in ESC which isn't too hard to figure.

Thanks!
Will check out Awave studio.
Hopefully soon can share some XI instruments as well from the prophet!
It is weird to play with a almost 3000 $ synthesizer after using apps for a couple of euros for a long time! ha ha

Have checked out Awave and it seems to work nicely!
Will do some extensive sampling work with a Basstation from the nineties this week and hopefully have some to share.
Did some patches from the Prophet as well but had to return it a day early and only ripped some one layer samples.from a couple of patches.
One that was great though- a very good copy of the pad sound from Badalamenti's Twin Peaks theme. Totally iconic to my ears!
Will share later...

Hey, thanks a lot for posting these, but it looks like Sendspace and Anonfiles deletes the links after some indeterminate amount of time. Maybe you could try another hosting site like Copy, Box, or Dropbox or something?

Been absent due to working with other DAWs. As to the filehoster question it is lucky to get 2 months free file hosting out of many of these hosters anymore...My suggestion is anyone who has an inkling of interest download RIGHT AWAY as I won't be reposting. Others can repost anywhere though...like is happening on musical android.
Good luck with your instrument building, Samri Kat...I find I throw away about half my conversions. If SunVox had a killer sample engine like Renoise it would not have to happen.

Gonna post a link to another forum I presently use & it is a specific post of mine for an old Tracker-Piano Roll DAW named Ioneo Aero Studio. This DAW hasn't been updated since 2004 & the website has been gone for 6 years now. But if you like SunVox then you's probably like Aero Studio. It can use VSTs & has Tracker & Piano Roll Editors. Sorta has elements of SunVox & Jeskola Buzz. Not gonna say much more here as this is the site for SunVox...not abandonware. Anyway the URL to my post & DL links are-

http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/inde ... pic=2053.0

Which you will not be able to see till you sign up, but I recommend you do as there are alot of old style goods there. The home page is-

http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/index.php

Very cool no ads, popups, etc...Main focus is old hardware & Software (abandonware). The Admin focuses mainly on MAC stuff...I do windows stuff. My handle there is Project5er.

Back to XI stuff,

Larry Seyer Upright Acoustic Bass XI

This came from a GIGA library which sounds fantastic but squeezing it down to XI loses quite a bit...Still worth using. There is like a 2 octave useable range with areas above & below for FX like slides-slaps.
